APH, Genderbent, Fem!Portugal
Middle Ages (vague?)

She had the grace of a cat and the spirit of a bird wanting to fly.
Joana was not cut for the life of a court lady that would idly sit by and wait until a man would take her hand and fuck her until she’d be carrying, and as such she had made a point of chopping her long brown hair and leave a sword on her belt, ready to pierce through skin and bone.

She had taken the life of a warrior, fought as good as any man, held herself as high as anybody but the kings she vowed to serve.

And here she was now, sliding through the ground with every push of the armoured man in front of her, chopped hair kissed by the sun, dancing in the wind, dirt and bruises on her pretty face and drops of blood wandering the skin.

She stands up and charges again. Oh if her father could see her, how disappointed he would have been that his daughter spat in the face of customs and traditions, and for what? To lose to the giant in front of her, to be nothing more than a disappointment of a woman who couldn’t reach those that nature determined to be the real warriors of the world.

With another push she falls down on the dirt, scratching on rock, and looks up to find the tip of a long sword pointing at her neck. She admits defeat and stands back up again giving way to the soldier that would have killed her in a serious fight.

The armoured body is imposing, strong and ruthless, and before Joana has any more time to curse the adversities of her gender, gloved hands reach to take off the helmet and to reveal the face of a monstrous woman of severe eyes and hardened expression, short blond locks of hair falling into her pale face, barely covering the scar carved in her forehead.

Sometime ago I saw a TV show about immigrants on several parts of the world, and there was one in Amsterdam, where the lady gave a little tour of the city and mentioned cheese markets in Netherlands. So I decided I wanted to draw something with cheese pff. Looks more like an old bakery than any photos of the so called cheese markets I saw but shhhhh what do I know about it.
